Now That's Something We Should Never Forget. :D
I got this in my inbox today. Lists down the stuff we used to do back in primary school. talk about nostalgia! haha.
Fond memories for those who were born in the 70s and 80s.
1. You grew up watching He-man, MASK, Transformers, Silver Hawk and Mickey Mouse. Not to forget, Ninja turtles, My Little Pony and Smurfs too.
2. You grew up brushing your teeth with a mug in Primary school during recess time. You will squat by a drain with all your classmates beside you, and brush your teeth with a coloured mug.The teachers said you must brush each side 10 times too.
3. You know what SBC stands for.
4. You pay 40 cents for Chocolate or Strawberry MILK every week in class.
5. You watch a very popular Malay dubbed Japanese drama on RTM1 about schoolgirls who possess powerful skills in volleyball called Meoro Attack.
6. You find your friends with pagers and handphone cool in Secondary school.
7. SBS buses used to be non-airconditioned. The bus seats are made of wood and the cushion is red. The big red bell gives a loud BEEP!when pressed. There are colourful tickets for TIBS buses.The conductor will check for tickets by using a machine which punches a hole in the ticket.
8. Envelopes given to us to donate to Sharity Elephant every Children's Day.
9. You've probably read Young Generation magazine.You know who's Vinny the little vampire and Acai the constable.
10. You were there when they first introduced MRT here. You went for the first ride with your parents and you would kneel on the seat to see the scenery.
11. Movie tickets used to cost only $3.50. &@%#$*@#$^*!@#&^$
12. Gals are fascinated by Strawberry Short Cake and Barbie Dolls.
13. You learn to laugh like The Count in Sesame Street.
14. You longed to buy tibits called Kaka (20 cents per pack),and Ding Dang (50
cents per box), that had a toy in it and it changes every week not forgetting the 15 cents animal crackers and the ring pop, where the lollipop is the diamond on the ring.

20. Your English workbooks was made of some damn poor quality paper that was smooth and yellow.
21. CDIS were your bestfriend
22. The only computer lessons in school involved funny pixellised characters in 16 colours walking about trying to teach you maths.
23.Waterbottles were slinged around your neck and a must everywhere you go.
24. Boys loved to play soccer with small plastic balls in the basketball court.
25. Teng-teng, five stones, chapteh, hentam bola and zero point were all the rage with the girls and boys too...
26. Science was fun with the balsam and the angsana being the most important plants of our lives,guppies and swordtail being the most important fish.
27. Who can forget Ahmad, Bala, Sumei and John,eternalized in our minds from the textbooks. Even Mr Wally & Mr.Yakki. What abt Miss Lala??? And Zaki and Tini in Malay Textbooks
28. We carry out experiments of our own to get yourself badges for being a Young Zoologist/Botanist etc.
29. Every Children's day and National day you either get pins or pens with 'Happy Children's Day 1993' or dumbfiles with 'Happy National Day 1994'.
30. In Primary six you had to play buddy for the younger kids like big sister and brother.
31. We wear BM2000, BATA, or Pallas shoes.
32. Your form teacher taught you Maths, Science and English.
33. The worksheets were made of brown rough paper of poor quality.
34. You went to school in slippers and a raincoat when it rained,and you find a dry spot in the school to sit down, dry your feet, and wear your dry and warm socks and shoes.
35. School dismissal time was normally around 1pm.
36. There would be spelling tests and mental sums to do almost everyday.
37. Your friends considered you lucky and rich if your parents gaveyou $3 or more for pocket money everyday.
38. You see Wee Kim Wee's face in the school hall.
39. You freak out when the teacher tells you to line up according to height and hold hands with the corresponding boy or girl
40. Boys like to catch fighting spiders.
41. Collecting and battling erasers was a pastime for boys.
42. Autograph books were loaded with "Best Wishes", "Forget Me Not", and small poems like "Bird fly high, hard to catch. Friend like you, hard to forget".
43. Class monitors and prefects loved to say "You talk somemore, I write your name ah!"
44. There were at least 40 people in one class.
45. Large, colourful schoolbags were carried.
46. You brought every single book to school, even though there was one thing called the timetable

Pixielicious :D
spent the entire of yesterday at our dear pixie's house. only a handful of 107's turned up. played mahjong, cards and the usual truth or dare (this time with more dares).
fiona kinda gave a blow by blow account of the dares on her blog, but heck, i'm going to type them down for the record. :)
the cards love ira. she was on the receiving end of almost all the dares (since we can't get any more truths out from her).
Dares (SAHIRA)
1. calling Brian and telling him she misses him.
Brian: HAH?!
(as usual)
2. calling Airell and asking him if he knows Brian likes her.
Airell: WTF? KNNBCCB, WTF, idunnoidunnoidunnoidunno, *insert come more crude expressions* idunno (x5)
(continuation: Val calling Airell and asking him what did he do to Ira that made her cry. yes, i know. we are evil. *cackles*)
3. kissing Chiouhuey on the cheek
ChiouHuey: *SQUEALS IN ECSTASY*
4. I can't remember what else was there.
And well, i was basically dared to call up our dearly beloved *cough* JiaHao and KaiWen.
Dares (VAL)
1. calling JiaHao and telling him i missed him.
JiaHao: (I can't remember what he said, but i think it was along the "WTF, etc" line). I ended up spoiling the entire thing by telling him it's a dare.
so they made me do a second dare by making me call his gay counterpart.
2. calling KaiWen and asking him to go on a solo date with me (JH, it was a dare so don't kill me. i didn't mean to temporarily steal KW from you)
KaiWen: HUH? (x3) oh, but i'm at a friend's house so i can't go out with you today. Some other day lah.
yeah, and basically, we got very high and dared Melody to call KaiWen.
Dare (MEL)
1. calling KaiWen and telling him that she doesn't feel very comfortable with the both of us (VAL+KW) going out, and inviting herself to the outing. It was supposed to be some lesbo thing going on between Mel and me, but i have no idea how it ended up with the both of them (MEL+KW) planning to go out the very next day at 4am. with wine and with a KW-sponsored cab.

Chiouhuey, Fiona and Peggy didn't kena anything. i think. *SHAT* lol. :)
we had lots of fun, really. the rest of u should have came. thanks to fiona for lending us your house. :D
met Christine in the morning at ecp today! bladed (love the new wheels, abec7, way to go! :D), ate, crapped, and met up with Dory at Giant.
my rollerblades have never failed to die (in a way) throughout my entire quarter life (i swear, this is the third pair that broke/cracked/melted). i broke the effing strap. on the FIRST day. so much for a ninety-eight bucks pair.
then again, i may possess the strength of a bull. (it's in the genes. my sister's strong for her size too!) :D
thank god the straps were kind of useless anyway, so i can still live without them. :D
spent the rest of the day with DORYkohmei :D
she hit my head 4 times today, and that's a grand total of eleven times for the past few days.
the beetles just don't like me, eh? (she hits me everytime she sees a volkswagon beetle).
darn. i should bring along a picture of the car everytime i go out with her or something.
TP-ians. i'm waiting for all of us to go out okay! :D

Viva la Dory! :D
woke up real early today (yes, 11 o'clock is early for me now) and went all the way to NP for strings meeting. gah. it was till today i found out i live...pretty far away from school. bwahaha. :D
headed to vivo with vanet,timo,frans andannabel rebecca.
ok lah. i still get the two of them mixed up sometimes. paiseh. lol
yeap bought tickets to GhostRider for me and dory while the rest went on to watch miss potter.
DORY YOU ROCK, and that's not just because you helped carry my @£$%^&*() violin around vivo today. :)
speaking of which, the bloody fine tuner broke into two. *RAHHHHHHHHHHH*
okay, back to dory. wahaha, believe it or not, she actually went along with my crazy antics. we went "YEOW!" to almost everything and pranced around like happy larks. :D
okay, i know i exaggerated a little, but DORY=LOVE.
okay lah. LEELIN=LOVE, too. must type here or she'll kill me. poor girl still studying at macs now. haha. :D
GhostRider rocked too. in a way. the effects were great and the bad guy (Dory calls him Vampire) was cute. it was hella funny, and that bike was so sexy. :)
i can't wait for the tp-ians to get over and done with their exams. am waiting for Cailing for roller blading trip, which we will (hopefully) conquer the whole of ECP, and of course LEELIN, for her to go all kbox crazy.

And WHOO, it's The Lunar New Year.
went to CowCarWater with the family yesterday. It was really crowded, noisy and fun. haha. there were price wars between the "Mochi/ Jelly" sellers, cute goodies shops that had signs that said
translated as "can mix, cheap until you go crazy" in very broken english. wahaha.
and there was a really cute uncle with his erhu..

went for ktv session with sister and her boyfriend at shenton way party world.
can't believe we sang all the way till 3am. FUNFUNFUN! :D

My not-so-die hard attempt at creating an emo post.
wa piang. i'm so dreading the results. i'm alone in the world. all i have is Murphy the stuffed snake with me. the world is fucked.
i love pain. pain is my best friend. he is always there to remind me that the world i live in is truly fucked.

but i AM dreading the release of the results. sian ah speech comm. it's all screwed thanks to my absurdly foul and big mouth.

anyway, we (fiona, sheereen, ryouko, melody and valerie) headed down to jurong east *GASP!* at 10.30pm after a whole day of shopping. waited for the darn bus for an hour and fifteen minutes. attempted at waving (to random cars/suvs/vans/buses/lorries), trying to get on a cab with 4 adults and a kid (fiona) and even drawing up a sign that says "JURONG".
the bus came in the end, though.
video will be uploaded once we stop procrastinating. :)
went to Jurong Green CC (am i right?) and hid in the toilet. jumped on(or rather, attempted to jump on) the birthday girl (ivy) and the rest of the Jurong Bird Park Clan plus ah chek brian. freezed tagged, truth or dared, and came home.
it was hellavu fun time, despite the fact that we went all the way to JURONG.
well, i don't know if i'm going to blog for the next few days, so happy new year to all of you guys!
eat more GAMS. they're rich in vitamin C, and a healthier choice to those tempting pineapple tarts.

Valerie and Sheereen: Conquerors of ECP (or so we think)
haha.. we conquered 1/5 of ecp today! it's an accomplishment ok! (for the first run of the year)
wahhahaha.. anyway, o level results were released and the 1990 (and some 1989,88,87) babies did pretty well (must be o lvl easier, ahhahaha. jk) congrats to those who've done well. :D
it's finally semester break.
time to take a break from too much computer usage. :D

anyone up for trip to zoo/ ice skating/ biking?

Masquerade. Paper Faces on Parade, Masquerade.
Title of post sums it all up for anyone who doesn't have the slightest clue about what we face in school, every day.
The semester's coming to an end, and i must say most of us has been wearing a mask for the past year.
and i've been wear a paper mache (that how you spell it?) lobster head.
don't bother asking. it's a personal joke, and yes. i do laugh at myself. alot.
in a nutshell, i've been living in hell on earth for the past year, but have met some ever-so-lovable evil goblins (and one pixie) along the way.
okay. i'm going down to school now. WritComm, here i come! :D

The Five Inanimate Things I Can Never Live Without
1. Bar soap.
yes, the same kind of bar soap chiou used to rub against her face while at my house the other day. she doesn't know how to use them sia. lol..
2. Watch.
i will seriously die without one.
3. Tissue paper.
for wiping the mouth, the table/ chair, the face, and the ass.
4. Toothpastes.
the normal one and the pearlie white teeth whitening paste. can't stand yellow teeth.
5. My wallet.
okay lah. so i was bored. still waiting for HYD to load.

2007 so far...
... has been pretty shitty.
yet despite the shittiness, i must say that i am thankful for the people who were there for me whenever i feel like a total idiot. (eg. today)
Chiou Huey, for putting up with my shit and who has never given up on me. i'm sorry for ruining today's speech.
Jia Hao, the nice radio partner and my wacky counsellor. :)
Sheereen, Melody, Sahira, Peggy, Ryouko, Fiona and Brian for being there.
i <3 you guys.
Today (or rather, yesterday) made a real mark in my life. It called for an attitude adjustment and changed my perspective on certain matters. MCM's a real bitch, whoever's in it will turn into one too in a matter of time. I've become real bitchy, sarcastic, rude, uncouth, you name it. Can't really blame the course, though. it has something more to do with myself. shall make it a point to be nicer, and nicer, and nicer.
Wish me luck on this, and for monday!

met up with Christine, Leelin, Cailing and Bomba just now. totally loved it. it's been eons since i last saw leelin.
DORY. WE MISSED YOU TODAY! :(
Singapore trashed Thailand in soccer today. Not that i'm an ardent of soccer matches, but today was hella fun. We cheered with a bunch of malay guys (ever so loudly). they showed us the video of the penalty shot and we went "GOAL!"
haha.. so cute. the train ride was FUNFUNFUN! :)
