I'm soooo screwed for tomorrow's assessed speech.
my ideas are all over the place, my brain dump's filled to the brim, and i just can't seem to get them all organised. i haven't started on the stupid powerpoint presentation. I get up to pee every ten minutes (too much info here, i know).
Gosh, i'm sooooo freaked by the idea of me having my ideas but not my speech.

Concerto D'amore

Went for my first MoulmeinWS practice with christine today. haven't played the saxophone for eons. lost my own set of reeds (DANG! THAT'S 20 BUCKS GONE) and had to use theirs.
for the first time in my life, i played the saxophone with a size 4 reed.
a size 4 NEW reed. the thickest i've ever gotten was 3 1/2 lah. my cheeks hurt so bad its worse than playing a tuba.
didn't have a neck strap, so my right thumb had to support the sax's weight for 2 hours straight.
and the reed made a long cut on my tongue.
but injuries aside, i had a helluva time playing Concerto D'amore, something i haven't played for years. don't ask me about the other pieces though, i suck at sightreading now.

now that i have the uber long cut on my tongue, i have no idea how to give the stupid accessed speech tmr. i'll probably mumble my way through and fail myself so i'll get to take speech comm all over again. WAHAHAHA..

time flies. nobody uses IRC now. back when i was in upper primary/ lower sec (can't remember when lah), i ventured into the wonderful world of internet relay chat. And guess what? i hung out at this channel for what- 2 years?
there i made a couple of great friends (older, D&D playing, book loving guys.) older guys, and some really great gals. they were all older. i was the kiddo.
saw their fster profiles and realised we haven't talked for what- 4 years? man. i missed the time. the stupid jooblah jokes, the jigglypuffs, and the time i didn't understand D&D. :D
and if any of you googled 'jooblah' and see this, i'm valzie`, and i'm still alive.

i miss band, and i can't believe i'm in strings now. i so wanna go back to band.
well, i played the saxophone in 2002 and 2003, and am playing it now back in alumni band (if it still exists). this is what a saxophone looks like:

yeap. i play the alto and tenor saxophones.
then in 2004, i switched to the tuba. for reasons unknown.
and THIS, is a tuba :D

yeah, i know.. i went a little kooky. HUGE difference between these two, but i didn't really regret switching over, for the sake of experience, but i do hate the part where my playing really sucked after two years. lol..

yeap. came back from chalet early in the morning. concussed on the bed and slept for 14 hours straight. alrighty, chalet was FUNFUNFUN!

2007 already, good grief. 2006 was... okay-ish, apart from the fact i've entered the shittiest course in the whole of polytechnic education and well, a 3-week relationship.
okay lah. mass comm not that bad lahh..
at least i've picked up a whole new world of swear words and ways to annoy using sarcasm.
okay. maybe 2006 was shit, but hell. i've enjoyed 2006. went through 2 jobs, 1.5 semesters (i can't believe i've survived 1.5 of MCM!), 634538 tv shows et cetera, et cetera.
oh well, since it's a brand new year with brand new beginnings, bring it on.
